Today, in our first episode, I discuss the podcast themes, structure, and my reasons for starting this podcast. During the episode, I take a walk down memory lane and share a few stories about my grandparents and how they have inspired me to start this podcast (finally!). We also spend some time unpacking these stories and finding some interesting connections with a research article that I recently read. To close out the first episode we take some small steps to notice how we are we others and what we might do to cultivate an environment of belonging with even the individuals share very different views.
